Has anyone had any luck editing the V8 shortcut target to point to a
workspace on a different drive. It is explained in the help files, but
i can't seem to get the shortcut to work.

The help tells me to create the traget below...

"D:\Program Files\V8\Program\MicroStation\ustation.exe-wrQ:\V8\Workspace\"

but windows tells me it is not valid...

Thnaks for any help

Glen,

One problem I see is that you need a space between ustation.exe and -wr

Also....the -wr switch may need to be outside of the quotes. For example:

"D:\Program Files\V8\Program\MicroStation\ustation.exe" -wrQ:\V8\Workspace\

You may also find Bentley's discussion groups of assistance. These groups are
an excellent technical resource for all users of Bentley products and
