Hi,

Just 2 questions:

1. When I try to change the tag in the, say, ISO template with a name like Albert Einstein it return a message that says

"The tag cannot be null or contain space"

and I have to type Albert_Einstein for it to be accepted. Is there anyway to edit it so that there can be a space?

2. How can I create my own template and title block with individual tags like the standard (eg. ISO) templates.

Thanks

Peter,

You need to think of Attribute Definitions as part of the block, used for
textual information that may or may not change... the tag/prompt/value

Attribute Definitions (ATTDEF, DDATTREF or -ATTDEF) have three components:

Tag Name (which you are eperiencing, which can contain no spaces)
Prompt (if they are not defined as being constant)
Value

These Atrribute Definitions need to be part of a block (in your case a
titleblock)... if you are actually in the drawing (eg: MY-TITLEBLOCK.DWG)
then they can exist as tags, it is when you insert THAT drawing into another
as a block that you will be prompted to change the Value(s).

As I have said before (and not trying to sound like this is a bad thing or
you are not intelligent), but you need to get some training or training
materials.

What discipline ? (Architectural, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, etc...)

Or what are you trying to design?

Amazing what Google can find:
