Hi,

I am sweeping the input Vgs and would like to plot Vgs-Vt on the
x-axis instead of only Vgs. How do I do this in Cadence?

Thanks

Hi,

Not sure how your method work, but i used the lshift function to shift
the x-axis (Vgs) by -Vth using OP function. Now, if I wanted to times
by a constant then I am not sure how to do it. Any ideas? Maybe
interchange y and x axis but not sure how to it either.

Cheers

In the old waveform tool, it's just a matter of plotting both the signal you
want to plot, and the expression for the new X axis (calculate that using the
calculator). Once you have both these signals plotted (against the normal Vgs
x-axis), double-click on the x-axis, and you can then change the variable for
the x-axis to be something other than the independent variable - i.e. one of
the plotted signals.

In wavescan you can do something similar - just can't remember the exact
details off the top of my head.

Regards,

Andrew.
