Hi,

Can someone explain how to create primitive symbols for IC5 cadence
virtuoso. I have models for transistors, resistors, caps etc. but I
don't have the symbols of those to use in the schematic drawing and
then to netlist for simulation. I need to create the symbols, but
don't know how.
The models are not for spectre and are organized as subcircuits.
Any help would be appreciated. Or at least point to a documentation
where I can read about this.
Thanks

Svilen

Svilen:
analogLib is a library provided by Cadence that has all the primitive
symbols. So, you can place down a nmos and put your model in the
model field...
