My company is using an old program as an add-on to AutoCad. The program is called ParaDesign. We are trying to upgrade to AutoCAD 2000 but can't get ParaDesign to work correctly with it. It is our understanding that the company who produced ParaDesign no longer exists so we are having trouble figuring out what to do. Does anyone have more info on ParaDesign or any suggestions on what to use in place of it.

And what exactly did this ParaDesign do? or more importantly what are you
attempting to design?

Depending upon what the functions of the original program were and how they were constructed, it may be possible to have the programs rewritten to be compatible with Acad2000+

We have done work for several companies in a very similar position. ~ upgrading from R14 and finding that many of the lisp routines did not work any more.

Following up on an old thread, has anyone bought the assets of the old Paradesign company? We also developed considerable applications using this platform and it's sad to see it go away, as we have not found anything else that approaches what we have. Any info would be appreciated.
