I cannot get this command to extent to a line that isn't in the path of the line I want extended. Previously this command worked. Where is the setting to change this? I have searched the literature and understand there is a setting in the registry for this. I am not sure I am editing the registry correctly. Thank you for any help with this.

Set EDGEMODE to 1 for the Trim & Extend commands to use extension of boundary.
