I'M HAVING A PROBLEM WITH THE HATCHING COMING IN ALL DISTORTED, AS OPPOSED TO LOOKING CORRECTLY. I HAVE FIXED THIS PROBLEM IN THE PAST BY ROTATING SNAP, THEN RE-HATCHING, BUT I HAVE JUST SWITCHED TO LDD 2006 AND THIS WORK AROUND WONT WORK.......DOES ANYONE KNOW OF A WAY TO FIX THIS ANNOYING PROBLEM?

The problem is usually due to working in an area with very large coordinates. (AutoCAD calculation error) To fix problem set your SNAPBASE to a location near the work area. You can "fix" distorted hatches after moving SNAPBASE by using HATCHEDIT command, select hatch, hit 'apply'.

Creating a new UCS with an origin near the work area also works.
