hi,
i dumped an ideal sin wave(15Khz) from cadence using ocnprint in CIW like below:
ocnprint(?output "a.dat" sample(VT("/a"),50u,500u,"linear",40n))

and i put the data from a.dat in matlab and compared with another ideal sinwave with the same period and initial phase,i found that the period of the dumped sinwave is increasing with time going on.

from fft analysis, the ideal one generated in matlab has an snr of about 320dB while spectrum of the one dumped from cadence ramped down slowly to about 150dB at about 400Khz.

pls tell me what i can do to remove the error of the dumping .

thanks

(BTW,can anyone tell me how i can post pic ?)
