PDE Algorithms
Name of the Position: Software Engineer
Number of Positions: 03
Qualification : ME/MTech/BE/BTech in Electrical &
Electronics/Electronics & Communication/Computer Science & Engineering.
Experience : 2 + Years of experience in design and development of
Video/Audio/Image/Speech CODECS.
Skills Required:
Designed and developed Video/Audio/Image/Speech CODECS like MPEG/AAC
MOV, AVI, and ASF etc Media Standards.
Thorough knowledge of Video/Audio/Image/Speech coding standards.
Excellent design and programming skills
Excellent knowledge of data structures.
Excellent C Programming and debugging skills.
Exposure to various optimization techniques for CODECS is desirable.
Exposure to any of the Real time operating systems is desirable.
Exposure to development of software for Consumer electronic devices is
desirable.

2. Experience as software configuration team member.
3. Good knowledge of System administrator fundamentals in Windows, UNIX

4.Good knowledge of scripting languages like Shell scripts, Perl
scripts & thorough understanding of Build environment
5.Exposure to automation process and release management and experience
in multi-site environment is preferred.

systems.
3. Excellent C Programming and debugging skills is a must.
4. Must have worked in developing software in a RTOS Environment.
5. Exposure to RTOS like VxWorks/WinCE/Symbian/Nucleus is a must.
6. Exposure to software development for consumer electronic
devices is desirable.
