The purpose of this MCAD Analyst position is to provide CAD application
design, development and support engineering to the Design Automation
(DA) Group in the implementation and support of the Engineering
Infrastructure, GPON product development, and Integration to the Matrix
Enterprise PLM System.
The primary role of the MCAD Analyst is development of design process
and methodology and the corresponding development and implementation of
technical applications to support FNC Project Development amid Support
teams with a focus on decreasing CAD cycle time, improving quality and
reducing cost. Typical application areas include; work-in-progress
design management, component engineering and information management,
MCAD library development and qualification, design entry (3D solid
modeling), thermal analysis (CFD), structural analysis (FEA) design
verification (DFA/DFM), fabrication and manufacturing delivery, ad the
supporting product lifecycle management, systems including
configuration management, engineering change/release management,
automated workflow's, CAD Data Management, and web-based user
Interface applications.
