1.5.-5 error with Civil 3D 2005 |
|
|
Network deployment of Civil 3D 2005 (just released)
When trying to run the software, we get the [1.5.-5] error
Specifics:
1. License Manager is version 9.22
2. All other 2005 network software works fine including Land Desktop 2005
and Civil Design 2005.
3. ASDKFLEX_LICENSE_FILE is set as an environment variable on the
workstation to @servername.
4. Problem exists on more than one station.
I'm assuming that Civil 3D 2005 uses a Civil Design 2005 license. Is this
correct or maybe this has changed with this new release?
I tried installing Civil Design 2005 service pack 1 with no luck.
Debug log file shows nothing related to Civil 3D trying to obtain a license.
Out of ideas.
Thanks,

Totally different product now. We received a new serial # for Civil
3D and have yet to authorize it (waiting for some $100 LDD crossgrades
to come through first)

If that's the case, then I'm having trouble getting a Civil 3D 2005 license
file from Autodesk authorization. They keep giving me a Civil Design 2005
license file.
I'll keep pulling teeth.
