I need to erase the same objects in each drawing of a very large set of
drawings.

Rather than having to select the same objects over and over again by
hand, is there some way to save a selection set from one drawing to
another? Sort of like using "previous" at a selection prompt, except
that I'm in another (although very similar) drawing?

Are they all in exactly the same place, on the same layer etc?
