Not able to get valid license... Error [1.5.-12] |
|
|
I have a network version of AutoCAD 2002 running with a license manager. After installing on a notebook w/WinXP, it will not run because it cannot find the license manager. I can ping the server and even check the status of the LM with LM toops from the XP computer. Tried it on a couple of other notebooks w/XP and it works just fine. Our sys admin did some port monitoring and found that all was will there.
Oddly, when I go to "Add/Remove Programs" there's a big blank spot where AutoCAD would be. I've tried un/re-installing 4 times.
Any ideas? The error code is Error [1.5.-12]

Hi,
We just started getting the exact same error message this week. The first workstation Tuesday, then a second today. this has rendered AC unusable on these workstations. If I install in a fresh workstation it works fine but if I reinstall in these workstations, I still receive this error. Did you ever figure out what the problem was? I am getting nowhere here.
Thanks
