Brand new Dell server with Windows 2003.
We run LDT 3 on the workstations. Only thing that has changed is the new server, we used to be on an old Compaq, NT 4.0 server.
Now since the server upgrade CAD users occasionally get read-only messages when they go to save a file around 5:00pm. They're saved the file earlier and didn't get the message. I'm reading a lot on this posting area about this problem...anyone have a solution? We never had the problem with the old server so a server latency or refresh problem doesn't make a lot of sense.
Thanks!

Betsey

Is the server hosting part of a DFS root? Are there other services or roles hosted on that server? (e.g. SQL, IIS, SMS, Exchange, etc.)

I'm not sure about DFS...I'll find out.
Yes, it is running exchange, SQL, and IIS.

No, no DFS on this server or any of the servers in the domain.
