Standalone to network license |

Long story short. . . . We had a guy install a copy of autocad that should
have been set up to run on our license server, instead, it's set up to run
standalone. Is there any way to 'repoint' to the license server?

It's hard to say without knowing what release of AutoCAD you have. If you
have the License Configuration Switcher installed, that's just what it's
for. Otherwise, you'll have to uninstall and reinstall.

The only way to "convert" a standalone license to a network client license is to uninstall and install the proper license type. It doesn't matter what version of AutoCAD (since 2002 anyway). If the user has a network client license which is "borrowed" (i.e. checked-out), it can be returned and it becomes a network license client without changing the software out, but that doesn't sound like what you're describing.
