I'm trying to install acad 2005 for our educational environment. We had 2000
until now. No problems. We have hunderds of roaming users. Network: files on
netware6, client os win2ksp4

If I do a local install on a ws, as administrator, it works fine. Also
after reboot.
Now I login as a normal network user ( power user, roaming profile) When I
start acad I get windows installer configuring acad. WHen that was only one
time, no big problem, but after logof, the next time I start acad I get the
installer again. This is realy anoying. When I do make the other user also
local admin and no roaming profile, I only get the installer the first time.

To be clear, ws and user do not have any acad 2000 things.

With acad 2000 we copied the acad user profile settings in the user registry
and profile so we had always good settings and no installer things.

well, I figured it out: I set all path that led to the users profile dir, to
a directory in his homedirectory on the network. There I copied all files
that were previously in the profiles.
Also some dirs, like the textures, are on a central place where users can't
change anything.
