(InfoSnap V8, rel 2.0) -- Beta - 6 is ready for download |

Hi all,
The beta-6 update of InfoSnapV8 rel 2.0 has been posted on the web and through
InfoSnap Automatic Updates (for those who activated this feature in InfoSnap).
Last weeks I had a lot on my plate, and in excess of it I have catched cold past
week and most of my plans had to be postponed. What I did this weekend was
wrapping up a prototype (or proof of concept) and making it fairly presentable
for testing. As soon as I feel better I'll expand more on this theme but what you get
now is fully functional and should give you a good idea where we are heading. It's cool.
What's new?

Added new (did I mentioned that it is really cool?) feature called 'View Buddy'.
When activated it installs an alarm panel in each view. This panel can display three
threat levels: Green, Yellow and Red ('View Buddy' is activated from 'Settings-2'-tab).
By placing mouse cursor on any alarm panel, a slam-down control panel will let you make
several choices with regard to which threats you want to be warned about and how much.
In addition by pressing a 'More'-button on the control panel you can define a subset of
threats to be displayed in the panel, because in the near future the number of threats
will be expanded even more! (i.e. as soon as things are back to normal around here).

PS: A known problem surfaced with InfoSnap Automatic Updates: you can't have a
Read-Only DGN being loaded while uppgrading InfoSnap. Why? Probably bug
in uStn. I am in process to prepare a TR for Bentley.
