hp 1050c pen setting problem |
|
|
our company just got a new plotter from hp650c to hp 1050c. i noticed using
the same pen setting, it comes out much darker. so i tried to lighten up
the pensetting but my lightest color won't get any lighter. is there a
reason? does anyone know the thinest pensetting possible on the plotter?
any suggestion would help....

Most likely, like the 650, your plotter comes factory set for hardware, not
software settings. Make the change.
Also make new plot style tables, start one form scratch, to test with.

HP decided to make money with ink :-). The 1050 produces a lot more ink than
other models. Go to "Color control" that you find on the "Options" tab of
the driver settings and move the "Lightness" slider to the left.
