Hi,

Since we've been upgraded from 2000i we are unable to find a batch plotting facility in CAD2005, does anyone know what happened to it? The help file mentions something about Autospool but that is far more complex & less user friendly so I don't believe Autodesk would have replaced the old system with it.

Please help.
Tony

Also explore Sheet Set Manager (new to R2005) as well as PUBLISH commands:
both explained in HELP.

Thanks. The publish command does work albeit in a long winded backwards way. Most of my collegues aren't that clued up & don't want to be bothered using page setups, they prefer to select printer & orientation then send it on its way. I shall look into the sheet set thing. I was recently sent on a refresher course to learn about the changes between 2000i & 2005 where even the tutors knew nothing about the sheet set manager.
Anyway thanks again. If it's too much of a hassle for my collegues I shall download an auto plot from the net.

Try downloading a trial version of Batch Script Processor from CADfx @ www.cadfx.com. This utility has supported my batch plotting needs for years with its capture functionality.

Give it a whirl. Blows the factory AutoCAD Batch Plot program away.

You might check out ScriptPro, which is included with AutoCAD as a Migration
Tool - It's a great batch processor.

And download the migration tools. Sciptpro is part of it.

Hope this helps.
