I am having trouble trying to plot rasters out of LD2004. My plotter is a Calcomp Techjet 5336GT and in AutoCad 2000 I was able to plot rasters with an Adobe Postscript Driver. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling drivers, changing the variables in the plotting configurations, using the windows system printer and nothing happens. The raster does not even show up in the plot full preview window. I am running Windows NT 4.0. Latest service pack for LD2004 has been installed. I plot to a network printer. Vector drawings plot fine. I'm at wits end with this. Can someone please give me another procedure to try? Thanks.

As a test, is you plot your raster at the smallest sheet size your plotter
can output, does the problem go away?

I suspect your plotter cannot handle the volume that is a raster plot from
AutoCAD.

thanks for replying

I tried that. Still nothing.

It's not my plotter because I have plot raster to it MANY time before, but it seems that since I've upgraded to Land Desktop 2004 with Raster Design 2004 from AutoCad 2000, I have have this raster plotting problem. Vector drawing still plot fine. I suspect that it is something in my print server that needs to be configured or something in the plotter configuration I forgot. It seems as if I've tried everything.

Again, thanks for replying, and if you or anyone can think of something else, I would greatly appreciate the feedback.

Am I understanding you correctly, that you are saying the raster plot
is too large for the plotter to handle? So the plotter would need more
memory, to solve this?
