Here we normally don't use publish in our LDD2004, but one of our employees
is working on a 30 sheet drawing. Each drawing is set up seperately, and is
drawn in model space.

As long as the plot settings have been saved in each drawing, can this
person use publish to plot each sheet out to a plot file without having to
open each drawing individually?

Plotters are networked and shared, fyi.

Yes. You must make sure your PC3 is set to output as a PLT. Setup is the
key. I find I must go through each sheet manually first to get a good
sheet set.

Ok, but do I need each drawing open in the session, or can I open just one
drawing and build the list? And does each plot go to a seperate plot file,
or are they combined into one plot file?

Once your list is made you only need one open file to start publish. I
have a shortcut on my desktop to open a dummy file just to access the
publish command.

And does each plot go to a seperate plot file,

Yes

No

You can also mix devices and page size (pagesetups) within the same list
(full size, half size etc). A little trial and error on a couple of
files will get you going.
