We have just got 2005 installed and I am trying to get it set up for plotting.
We used page setups (12 different) and plotted with CTB plotstyles with 2004.
Dean S. has often recommended using STB plot styles instead of CTB, and I am willing to make the change if it works.

What I need:
(12) page setups (just different sizes and orientation)
All plots to be all black and white (no color or greyscale)
Border and plines to plot at specified width
All other items to plot at whatever the default lineweight value is (.1800?? as far as I know we never changed it)

I have been trying to get this setup for a couple of hours now with no real luck.
the plots I am getting have unreadable text (because of lineweight?) and are plotted it greyscale.

Can anyone offer assistance?

Thanks
Chad

You can still use CTBs if that is where your comfort level is ;)

Dean,
I keep getting the "missing" plotstyle that a lot of people seem to be getting.
I was hoping that since most of the replies to the problem say to convert the file to STB, that just using STB in the first place would make more sense.
Although you seem to know what you are doing, the plotsyles just seems to really confuse people.
I also don't understand why there seems to be a problem every time we switch to a new version of ACAD, Maybe it is something I have done wrong.

Is there a tutorial somewhere for plot styles? - been too busy to look.

Chad
