RTL viewer/converter? |
|
|
Can anyone recommend a good inexpensive viewer/converter for RTL files? I
don't suppose I'll get good vector info, even with Scan2CAD, but a TIFF
underlay would be helpful. Don't *think* Ghostscript will do it, but I'll
have to check.

This is a free viewer.....
http://www.tgsoft.ch/English/Bitview.htm
Open the file and you can also save as TIF/JPG....
It support HPGL2 and also RTL.
(Not PCL3!)

Indeed, GhostScript will not do it. GS does PostScript and PDF (it can
output RTL, but that is probably not what you want). Note that RTL is
raster data, so not a good starting point for conversion (back) to CAD.
