What is the trick with these new CUI files?

Acad.cui is the main
Jason.cui is a partial

All of the button assignments show up in the CUI editor,
but they don't fire. All I get are the ones that are defined
in the acad.cui.

Within my Jason.mnl file I have the following line of code
which worked with previous versions.

(menucmd "B1=Jason.BUTTONS1")

I suppose I could remove the button assignments from
the acad.cui, but I'd rather leave the original files alone.

Just removing the button assignments from the acad.cui
wasn't enough, I also had to transfer them from my
partial.CUI to the main CUI (acad.cui) to get them to
work correctly.

So, I can't keep my button assignments in a partial menu
anymore? That stinks.
