We are using a TTF called 'Technical'.
If we use 'dtext' and set a fontsyle to 'Technical' the text displays OK and plots OK.
If we use 'mtext' and set a fontsyle to 'Technical' it looks OK in the 'mtext' box but does not display OK or plot OK.
It defaults to the default text set in options.
Using 'arial' or 'times roman' is OK.
Any suggestions ????

STYLE command: do you have your text style set to Technical there?
Plotting to what? Using what driver?
This happens to all files, or just a few?
All printers and plotters, or just one?
What version of AutoCAD?
What 'unique' things are you doing to your file (like set to save down a
version etc.)?

I don't have the TECHNICAL font as one of my windows installed fonts,
therefore I cant do anything with your drawing. I'm sure many others that
would like to help you won't have that font either. Can you please post
that font for us to download/install so that we can try to help you out?

Strange thing !!!!!
If I set my default style in 'options' to 'technical' then the 'technical' font displays and plots OK.
