Two different plot previews |
|
|
R2005 and R2006. Plotting from MS.
We have many drawings that are saved with a named page setup set
current. Let's says the page setup is called "std".
If you open one of these drawings and run the PREVIEW command, the
preview is shifted to the right and up about 1" in each direction from
the way it was saved.
However, if you go into the PLOT command, then go into preview, the
preview is OK.
If you cancel the PLOT command, run the PREVIEW command again, the
preview is wrong again.
If you go into PAGESETUP, and modify the "std" page setup by reselecting
the plot window (although it IS NOT wrong), save it, and reapply it to
MS, exit the PAGESETUP command ---- then the PREVIEW command looks right.
It's not a show stopper since the plot comes out fine anyway, but if a
user opens a drawing and runs PREVIEW, that user doesn't know if the
plot window is wrong or if it's this bug cropping up....
Anyone else seen this?

Correction.
It *does* affect the plot.
I have narrowed it down to the fact that the drawings are OK, then they
are worked on by outside subs, then when they are returned this problem
exists.
This makes publishing impossible. |

Hard to blame it on them, since both the 'before' and 'after' versions
include exactly the same plot settings, including the exact same named
page setup. |
