After our switch we started experiencing intermittent lock ups when we
connect to our OCE server. Is this a 2005 driver problem? Has anyone found
the fix?

Full details instead of a half-measure post would go a long way in helping
your peers here understand where you are first.

Alright then.........................When we were on 2004 we had no problems
what so ever. As soon as we upgraded to 2005, every time we selected the Oce
machine as our plotter AutoCAD locks up. Tends to happen intermittently,
every once in a blue moon a machine would be able to send plots to it. Any
questions?

Problem resolved, thanks.

Are you using a windows driver, or are you using a .pc3 file? Do you
print
directly, or through accounting software as a go-between (ie, does it ask
you for an account number and username, etc.)? What model Oce printer are
you using? Is it old, or new? When it comes down to printing problems,
there are several variables that can affect this.

My first indication would be that you are trying to use a 2004 pc3 file
for
2005. I'm not sure if that will work properly or not, I've seen a lot of
posts concerning that, the usual fix is to create a new set of pc3 files
for
2005.

Using Add a plotter wizard, re-created the PC3 file. It seemed the problem
was the 2004 PC3. Funny thing was by time I read your post I had already
gone through the trouble. Oh well.........at least the problems resolved.
