Hello,

I have a problem with some PCs that have ADT2004 loaded. Originally the
plotter setups were coming from the network. I prefer to have the PC3 files
saved locally so users can make changes to their particular setups. So i
went into the options and changed the two locations "PrinterDescDir" and
"PrinterConfigDir" to the local drive. However now the ADT does not show any
of the system printers. I realize I can create PC3s for each system printer.
i see this as unnecessary effort (39 PCs) because a default install of the
ADT has all the system printers available (not PC3s).

Can anyone offer any advice?

Thanks,

Jeff Tucker

i kept looking and found the problem in case anyone else is having the same
issue.

in the profile there is a reg keyword that needs to be changed. under

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk\AutoCAD\R16.0\ACAD-204:409\Profiles\RRM
M Standard\General]

add this key "HideSystemPrinters"=dword:00000000.
"HideSystemPrinters"=dword:00000001 is on so it hides the system printers.
