Uninstalled FlexLM, Service still there |

I've uninstalled FlexLM on a server that will no longer server licenses for
AutoCAD 2005. However, the FlexLM service is still there (along with the
annoying DS blah, blah service that fails to load).
What procedures do I need to do to remove the bogus service? RegEdit to
delete the bogus Services entry in the CurrentControlSet?

Try the following
Reinstall the license manager.
Start LMtools
Go to the Stop/Start/Reread Tab
Stop the license manager
Go to the Configure Services Tab
Make sure that the desired service is highlighted and select the Remove
Service Button
Uninstall the license manager

Launch your System Configuration Utility. Go to Start > Run and type msconfig.
Go to the services tab. Uncheck the FlexLM service and reboot. It will no longer start up. |
