CRASH when plotting from page setup |
|
|
I'm running ADT 2004. When plotting directly from page setup, I get the following error:
AUTOCAD ERROR ABORTING
FATAL ERROR: Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0x0000 Exception at 61ce361h
Others in my office have experienced the same thing. When plotting from plot dialog everything works fine.
Can anyone help

Well, then, don't do that!!!
Honestly, if you're getting that error, there's not much you can do (from
personal experience) about it. If it's not really necessary to plot from
the page setup, just use the plot dialog.

I actually thought about doing exactly what you suggested - "Don't do that". I appreciate your sense of humor.
The only reason I would like to pursue this further is that I used to be able to plot from page setup no problem. Now I can't.
Any Autodesk individuals have anything to offer?

You don't provide enough details in your OP about your setup and every piece
of hardware and software, drivers, version number and more for anyone from
Autodesk (if they even get this far to read your post) to respond. This is
mostly peer support 99% of the time.
You would be better off paying someone to visit your site and decipher the
problem in the field, hands-on kind of thing.

I guess I was hoping someone else may be experiencing the same problem and providing the "details" (details that I'm happy to provide) could come at a future post if needed.
I've also seen many Autodesk responses that have helped me many times. My hope is that if ordinary discussion group members can't help, an Autodesk experts might.
Thanks for your suggestion but my original question still remains. |
