Scale lineweights |

"Scale lineweights" doesn't work even though it is checked in the plot tab. We are using R 2004, but it didn't work with our previous R 2002 as well. Thank you!

Maybe you are still doing the same wrong thing... .
Not much detail with your post about your setup, plotting
parameters/details, screenshots etc.

Re: Scale lineweights |

Dean,
Thank you for responding to my question!
Here are the details: I am plotting from paper space; using color dependent plot style table (ctb); usually the paper size is 24"x36" and the scale of the drawing vary. The problem is when I need to print on 11"x17" and have "scale to fit". I check the "scale lineweights" but no scaling of the lineweights occurs. I've never had this problem in the previous offices I was employed. Here we are connected to network and plot with an HP plotter. It was just the same on my previous jobs. Please let me know if you think of something.
I really appreciate your help!
Best Regards,
Stefani

Do you set a plot scale?

Re: Scale lineweights |

Hi Dean,
Here is a specific example: My dwg is in model space; I plot from paper space with plot scale 1:100; the paper size is 24"x36". Than I need the same dwg on 11"x17". So I select the new paper size, check " Scale lineweights", pick a window and assign "scale to fit" or sometimes a particular scale, like 1:2. When I plot, the lines are thicker and I need a new ctb to fix the problem. I am 100% sure that I've never had this problem before I started working in this particular office.
Thank you!
Have a nice day!
