How to plot a .plt file on a Drawing Master plotter? |
|
|
Hi All,
I received .plt files from a client. I have a Drawing Master #52224 thermal
plotter.
What is the procedure to plot these files.
Thank you in advance,
Al

PLT is not a file format like GIF or PDF, it's just a naming convention.
If the PLT files were not specifically made for your plotter, you can't do
much with them.
If you performed a simple search here, you would have found the solution to
this weekly question and it's many replies/options:

Printfile (see Dean's response) is the easiest utility out there for sending
plot files. However, if the plotter configuration isn't similar to what you
use, the plot file will be useless. If it doesn't come out right, you will
have to inform the person that sent you the plot file of the type of plotter
you use. They can then install a printer in their autocad meant just for
your plot file.
