I'm looking at VB for AutoCAD here just to wet my feet on learing this new to me code. We may be moving to IV and I would like to learn VB to customize it someday.

Do most of you VBA guys & gals save your subs into a "tool box" so you can use them in other projects? Or do you just go into other projects to "steal" desired code that suit the need?

Do you try to construct your modules so that you can export and import for use in other projects?

I just don't want to tear into this and end up with "spagetti" code.
Can anyone post a "tree" just to show an example to how a project should be set up?

TIA

Bill

so did you decide to go with putting the subs in a dvb and referencing that
in projects that need the sub?
or some other way?
just curious

I'm still researching...and doing a few tutorals.
We have both VB6 and Visual Studio on site and we're still debating on which road to take for this project.

Thanks

I use Source+ for code snippets. Comes with some good examples.
http://www.axtools.com

I've also looked at Source Book by FMS. This one is nice becuase you can subscribe to a never ending supply was great classes and subroutines. They also post great tutorials.
