Hi Guys.

I've tried to install Autocad 2005 with the license manager on a newly
installed server but I am getting the following message:

--------
Status
--------
Flexible License Manager status on Tue 3/22/2005 14:38

[Detecting lmgrd processes...]
License server status: @****
License file(s) on ****: C:\flexlm\License\ACD2005enlicense.lic:

lmgrd is not running: Cannot connect to license server
The server (lmgrd) has not been started yet, or
the wrong port@host or license file is being used, or the
port or hostname in the license file has been changed.
Server name: ****
License path: @****
FLEXlm error: -15,570. System Error: 10035 "WinSock: Operation would
block"
For further information, refer to the FLEXlm End User Manual,
available at "www.macrovision.com".

Basically, the problem is that the service won't start and therefore I
can't read the license file or anything. I know this is an issue but
I've tried everything suggested, the license file has the correct
hardware address and the right server name... does anyone have any
suggestions?

Many thanks,
Owen.

Greg,

I'm receiving a similar error message. Were you able to workaround this issue? I've tried increasing the FLEXLM_TIMEOUT thinking it was a timing issue, but to no avail.

Any suggestions would be welcome.

Thanks,

Ian
