Just curious what others use to name their layout tabs. I typically only have 1 per drawing, so name them by the page size i.e. "Arch D 24x36"

Works nicely when you go back to old drawings and can't remember what the title block size is. Easy quick reference.

We have anywhere from 1 to more than 30 per file. We use the sheet name.

I'm doing Acquisition maps now so M3P110 Pg 1 is page one of Map 3 Parcel
110. Otherwise we use the sheet # exactly as it will appear in the
titleblock. There is RText in the titleblock that picks up the layout name
and inserts it as the sheet #.

I've been looking to do something like that with Rtext and the File name so sheet would be numbered according to the first 3 characters of the filename.

You'd have to find out how to truncate the DWGNAME with Diesel. Something
like the SUBSTR function in Lisp. You can now (2005+) do this with a field.
Same problem as in RTEXT. How to truncate?
