Lost the ability to edit my CTB files |
|
|
Hello,
Somehow, after uninstalling an older version of Land Desktop 3, my
ability to edit my CTB files has disappeared. I am running Land Desktop
2004 now. I installed LD 2004 BEFORE installing LD 3, too.
I knew something was up because the little shortcut that I keep in my
task bar changed from the previous color that associates the CTB editor
to the generic Windows-unknown application icon.
Isn't there an exe that ties into editing the CTB files?
TIA.

BTW, forgot to mention, but I can still edit the CTB file by going to the
page setup/plot device tab/edit plot style table. But I liked the ability
to have it setup with a shortcut on my taskbar, because that way I could
edit it (the plot style) without having to go through all those other
steps. OK. That's it.
Hope someone can help me...
TIA. |

Try a repair reinstall of your current AutoCAD product, and patches too.

I would say that the icon is looking at the wrong file. If you know the
location of that particular .ctb, just right click on it and drag to the
desktop. You will be asked if you want to make a shortcut.
