Hello AutoCAD champions

We are programming a VBA Application to Convert Drawings from an old CAD-System to DWG. Some files we need to recover. My Question:
is there a Command in AutoCAD VBA to recover a drawing.

What system were the old drawings created in?

The old System was Metric3.1 and TopCad (a CAD System running on Macintosh)

Unless that system has a means of converting to either DWG and/or DXF ....
need I say more?
