Posted in the print newsgroup for opinions on the printer systems and in
cadmanagers for opinions on lease prices.

New Xerox 510 is $341 a month to lease and a comparable KIP 6000 series is
$627?
Anyone know of a rationale for the difference?

Methinks our KIP dealer may be trying to gouge us a bit on the lease price
by going with and without a deal involving two Toshiba copiers.

TIA!

You know what it is...
Your KIP dealer isn't trying to scam you. Look at the prices of the xerox. Yes its less expensive, HOWEVER, have you seen the amount of "extras" and "add ons" that they have? 90% of those "add ons" you are going to need to have installed to use your xerox. And that is going to run you thousands more. KIP has these already installed with the exeption of a PDF dongle. In reality, you are better of getting a KIP with a service contract. It will last WAY longer, its much faster and SO MUCH CHEAPER! Take it from someone who uses a KIP everyday. I love it.
