I am drawing a line and i want to be zig-zag but every time i choose this as the line type it just goes back to being straight! I can't figure it out! I know it has to be something simple... Please help!

ltscale set to low or high?
does regen make it show-up as zig-zag.

Set the linetype to zigzag for the layer your drawing on.

Did all that and it is still showing up straight... That is until I left click on the line. Whenever i do that, it turns into zig-zag but after i deselect it, it goes back to a straight line.

Try setting Shademode to 2d.

Yeah, I finally had some luck with it. I had to create a brand new layer in order for it to work but it still worked. Thank you guys for all of your help.

You could offset the line and make the new line a shaded colour?
