2005 Network Installation Wizard problem |

I created a Land Desktop 2005 network deployment image. I can modify the image using the NIW without issue until I apply SP1 to the image. Then I can no longer modify the image - I receive the error "This is an invalid deployment file" when I select the deployment name in the NIW. Installs from the deployment seem fine and include SP1. I just can't modify the admin image anymore.
I've tried everything I can think of, including various recreations of the image, but can't resolve the problem. Any ideas out there?
