I have just tried out the common dialog control and I think its great. I have a few questions, does anyone know how to preload the filename with a value like the saveas dialog normally does? and is there a way to return the filename with an extension?

Have a look at the Filename property. The full path\filename.extension
should be set/returned in this property. Search your MSDN library for
"CommonDialog Control".
