Using 2005 under Win2k Pro and 1.5 Gb ram, HP 5500 printer, I got the
following dialog box error, entitled Printers Folder:
"There was an error found when printing the document "C:\Scu...PlotDemo.dwg
Model (1)" to LPT1:. Do you want to retry or cancel the job?

This is the third time this has happened on the cheaper bond paper 60" roll.
Until I get a complete plot with that I don't want to put in the more
expensive photo paper.

With my printer window open I can see as the spooling takes place,
9.08/106Mb, 53.9/106Mb, etc. . When the printing begins it reads 105/106Mb
and stays with that value. The printing continues for some two minutes,
then produces the error I've cited above (but the plot continues). I last
canceled the plot when it completed about half of the 70" long plot.

Actually, there's another problem that I can't tolerate. Part of the large
text header is incomplete. "All 22,079" becomes "All 2,079" with a
numeral 2 missing. Each of these letters is adjacent to and follows the
form of a large circular shape. They are each individually created in order
to conform to the circle (yes, I tried ArcText command from Express Tools
and that looks good but doesn't plot at all).

I wonder if I need to mess around with swap file settings seeing that such a
large file is being used. I wonder if the hard disk on the plotter needs to
be purged of files. It's relatively new and is 40 Gb.

I just checked my swap file settings and they are from 2 - 4 Gb in size. My
2005 service pack number is 1.
