I have a new install of AutoCAD 2005 that is giving me all sorts of trouble
with the 'Continuous plot log could not be opened for write.' error message.
The plot works, but the error every time is a pain.
I have:
Turned off Plot and publish log File.
Turned off Background Plotting.
Unchecked ALL Plot Stamp fields.
Pointed the Plot Stamp parameter File to a PSS on the server that is Full
Control permissions for all users.
Unchecked Create a Log File in Plot Stamp Advanced Options.
AND repather the log to a file with Full Control permissions.

And I STILL get that darn message. The thing that makes me nuts is I am not
getting that message at home, or my old office that uses ADT 2005. Just this
one office using Acad 2005.

Any thoughts anyone?

Thanks,
Gordon

I my case the path settings in options for log file location and Plot and Publish Log file location where pointing to a local usermenu.
While I was using a Username.domainname usermenu.
So browse in both settings to your userprofile in Documents and Settings.

Very Happy

Good luck Arnout
