Ok, I'm stumped on this one. I was just asked if this can be done & I don't
know the answer. Either because I have never seen it done or it can't be
done. any ideas.

There is a routine around to do text to attribute but since attributes are limited to a single line, mtext would not work. Do a search "text to attribute".

You would have to explode the Mtext first.
