Running Autocad 2000 on WIndows XP SP2. Unfortunately it's one of those problems that occurs at random. From time to time Autocad will hang after the AECOPEN command is issued. It usually hangs for about a minute and then the open dialog box appears. I've launched Autocad after a fresh restart and had it happen so I don't think it's a resource issue.

Not a major problem, but mildly annoying when it happens frequently. Anyone have any ideas?

Only thing I can think of would be Network issues. Local PC would be
constant, the only varying item could be something with the network.
Just a guess.
