Re: Profiles problem |

Hi Luis,
Type %USERPROFILE% in an explorer address window when the user that is
having trouble is logged in. Note the path that comes up.
Open Regedit and browse to
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk\AutoCAD\R16.1\ACAD-xxx:xxx.
There will be several paths in this key including "LocalRootFolder", and
"RoamableRootFolder".
If the path of the current user is different from the settings stored in
those registry keys, then the simplest fix is usually to erase the entire
ACAD-xxx:xxx registry key. The next time you start AutoCAD you will see
"Installing AutoCAD...", and it will add that entire key back with the
correct settings. Keep in mind that you will have to re-configure any
custom path or autocad settings that have been changed since the initial
install.
Also, if using some kind of Roaming or Mobile profiles, you may need to
exclude the "LocalRootFolder" folder from being saved on the network or
erased from the local drive. That is usually where the ACAD2005.CFG file
is stored.

again it says that doesn't find the configuration file. I don't know waht
the problem could be.
Any help would be appreciated
