is it possible to open up a drawing & click on a dimension & have all my
current setting change to the same style/ properties of the dimension
picked? (many times a drawing doesn't have an actual style created, other
than overrides selected)

Depending on what version you use, my DIMSET.LSP might do it
for you. (It works for me.) Go to my site.
