I have a strange problem. Running AutoCAD2000 on a WinXP SP2 box. Open a
drawing and acad.exe consumes some amount of memory. Open a drawing and the
memory size increases. If you switch the view from layout to model the size
jumps 30-50MB. If you switch back to layout the size doesn't change. Then if
you switch to model again, it increases by 30-50MB more. Each switch to
model adds 30-50MB until things grind to a crawl. Save the drawing, close
AutoCAD, reopen with the new drawing and all is well. Any ideas why the
memory is not being released and just keeps incrementing?

Thanks for any help,
Mike Lawson
