This just started happening for a user- in the middle of editing a drawing, zooming, scrolling and drawing lines, AutoCAD will freeze, and when you look at task manager, it is not responding with 99% cpu utilization.
it is 2000i, machine is winXP pro w/ sp1
the machine runs normally, everything else works while autocad is frozen.
not much to go on, but has anyone else run into this?

Just started? Examine the PC for what "just got changed, added, or updated"
and remove it.

Yes, I know, the "just started happening" routine, but I can't find anything different, and if the user says they didn't do anything, what can you do?

If you have a modern OS like WinXP, try a system level restore to a day
before the 'sudden' change: WinXP will also tell you what mysteriously got
changed too.

BACK UP ALL YOUR FILES FIRST.
