Hi guys,
Something about the newer versions of autocad that is really staring to
annoy me is when using the trim and extend command it allows me to select
xref lines and block lines as the cut line, even if the block or xref is on
a locked layer. Is there a system variable to stop this from happening? I
use xrefs alot when drawing elevations, I use them as a backdrop for the
surveyors points then i just use those points for reference and draw in the
detail over them, when trimming and extending i used to just box over what i
wanted and it wouldnt select the xref line (this was in r14) I hope i can
switch it off.
